Article Summary

Just purchased your first Minecraft server? 🎉
This guide walks you through everything you need to know to deploy, access, and start playing on your MineRack server — from setup to connecting in-game.

🔹 Overview

When you buy a Minecraft server from MineRack Hosting, setup is fully automated.
Within a few minutes of payment, your server is deployed on our infrastructure and ready for use.

You’ll receive two important emails:

  1. Billing Confirmation – your invoice and order details

  2. Server Setup Email – Game Panel login link and server credentials

💳 1. Confirm Your Purchase

After completing your order on billing.minerack.fun, you’ll receive a confirmation email with:

  • Your order ID

  • Service details (RAM, CPU, location)

  • Invoice confirmation

If you don’t see it, check your Spam or Promotions folder.

Once payment is verified, your Minecraft server will begin deploying automatically.

🎮 2. Access the Game Panel

MineRack uses the Pterodactyl Game Panel for all Minecraft server management.

🛠️ How to Log In:

  1. Go to panel.minerack.fun

  2. Log in using your billing email

  3. If it’s your first time, click “Forgot Password” to set your Game Panel password

  4. Once logged in, you’ll see your Minecraft server under “Your Servers”

💡 Tip: You can bookmark your panel for quick access — panel.minerack.fun

⚙️ 3. Starting Your Server

Once you’re inside the panel:

  1. Click on your server name

  2. In the console view, click “Start”

  3. Wait for a few seconds — your console will display startup logs

  4. Once it says Done!, your server is online 🎉

You can now connect from your Minecraft client using your server’s IP and port, visible at the top of your panel.

🔌 4. Connecting to Your Server

From Minecraft (Java Edition):

  1. Open Minecraft → Multiplayer → Add Server

  2. Enter your server IP:Port (from panel)

  3. Name it anything you like

  4. Click Join Server

From Minecraft (Bedrock via GeyserMC) (if enabled):

  • Use the same IP address

  • Port: usually 19132

  • Join directly from Bedrock client

🧩 5. Customizing Your Server

Once your server is online, you can:

  • Upload worlds or plugins from the File Manager

  • Use SFTP for large uploads

  • Change your server type (e.g., Paper, Spigot, Forge, Fabric)

  • Manage backups and schedules

🧠 Pro Tip: Use MineRack’s Server Doctor (coming soon) to automatically analyze and optimize performance.

🛡️ 6. Server Settings and Security

We recommend:

  • Changing your server.properties file to set MOTD, difficulty, and slots

  • Keeping operator (OP) access limited

  • Backing up your world regularly

  • Avoiding unverified plugins/mods to prevent corruption

🧰 7. Troubleshooting Common Issues

Issue Possible Cause Solution
Server won’t start Version mismatch or plugin error Check console logs for red error lines
High ping or lag Heavy plugins or large worlds Remove unused plugins, optimize configuration
Can’t connect Wrong IP or port Recheck IP in panel or ensure server is started
Console shows “Process exited” Java crash or mod conflict Remove last added mod/plugin and restart
